Fact-finding mission on military helicopters
Paris, 18 January 2010 – A subcommittee of the Defence Committee of the European Security and Defence Assembly is to carry out a parliamentary fact-finding mission at the helicopter flight training centre in Bückeburg near Hanover on 20 January next.
Members of the Defence Subcommittee will be briefed by General WOLSKI, commanding officer at the simulator training centre, before being shown the NH90 helicopter on the ground.
“European cooperation on military helicopters” will be the subject of a report to be submitted on behalf of the Defence Committee of the Assembly by Mrs Claire CURTIS-THOMAS MP (United Kingdom, Socialist Group) at the Assembly’s 58th plenary session in Paris (Palais d’Iéna) from Tuesday 15 to Thursday 17 June 2010.
